Loi Kwong Fon graduated from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 2004. Loi was trained in the areas of commercial crime litigation and general civil litigation. After being called to the Malaysian Bar on 10 March 2005, he was appointed as a magistrate in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. He served the judiciary until he was offered to do a Master degree of International Relations and Strategic Studies in the University of Malaya.
On 8 August 2008, Loi started running his own practice as a sole proprietor under the style and name of Messrs Loi & Co. Loi has also been invited to assist in a commercial case in the High Court of the Republic of Singapore.
Loi is a columnist for Sin Chew Daily and Feng Cai Magazine. He was also a special guest for a radio station and a television station. Loi obtained his Master degree of International Relations and Strategic Studies in August 2010.
